Important Notice: TLS 1.0 and 1.1 Support Ending on T.M.A.S.

Starting January 1st, 2025, T.M.A.S. will discontinue support for TLS 1.0 and 1.1 protocols to enhance security. Ensure your systems are updated to maintain uninterrupted access.

Table of Contents

In alignment with evolving technology, regulatory requirements, and security best practices, we will be discontinuing support for the outdated Transport Layer Security (TLS) protocols, specifically TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1, starting January 1st, 2025.

This decision follows similar actions by industry leaders such as Microsoft, who have announced the end of support for these protocols. Many cloud services and software providers have already deprecated or plan to deprecate support for TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1 to enhance security and compliance.

To enhance security and provide best-in-class encryption for your data, we'll require interactions with Azure services to be secured using Transport Layer Security (TLS) 1.2 or later.

    What This Means for You

To ensure uninterrupted access to our T.M.A.S. systems, your organization may need to make changes if still using these outdated protocols. If you are affected, we recommend that you make the necessary updates by January 1st, 2025.

    Next Steps

For organizations using T.M.A.S. systems, please review the following guidelines:

Group 1 – Organizations Using Web Browsers
If your organization uses a browser to access T.M.A.S. systems, there should be no impact, provided you are using a supported browser such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera and it is updated to the latest version.

Group 2 – Organizations Using API
To ensure continued access, if your organization connects to T.M.A.S. systems through an API application relying on TLS 1.0 and TLS 1.1, these applications will require updating to a more current protocol.
